November. why? global warming. i know it's supposed to be bad, but i have enjoyed it so far.
Another vote for November. I doubt the weather report ever mentions heat index or wind chill in November. Leaves turning colors at the beginning of the month to add to the weather.

Raleigh winters are not at all comparable to the Midwest. I spent 30 years in the Midwest and now live in Wake county. The nicest week of weather there is about an average week here and the coldest week here is just about a normal week there.

March and October.

March is when it stops being dark when you go home from work; we get nice spring temperatures but the trees are still bare so no pollen. Also March Madness! April would win because everything starts to bloom...but with that comes the pollen which seems to affect me more and more each year.

October...the humidity finally goes away. Still a few "hot" days mixed in with the cool/pleasant ones for the first couple weeks but they are more bearable. Leaves start to change towards the end of the month. Also Football and the State Fair!

Gotta say though....this summer has had more "pleasant" days so far than I can ever remember. I dig it.

Another vote for March and October. Low humidity. Few hot days. Crisp mornings.

It would be nice if we could get these "relief" days every summer but these are a welcome anomaly.

I'll take mid-March to mid-April, usually. 1) it's often right before the pollen hits 2) crisp mornings but the afternoons are amazing 3) only a slight tiny chance of winter weather 4) it's the only time till late-September/early-October that you can open your windows without letting in humidity or pollen.

Otherwise, I'd make my month out of every summer day after 7pm :-)

One of the warmest October's on record. When will this summer end? I'm craving cooler weather.
