relocating to raleigh (Durham, Cary, Apex: homes, neighborhood, schools)

hello eveyone, my wife and me are coming down to research the raleigh area to relocate, we are looking for family oriented neighborhood, great schools,easy access to major highways..........any recomendations pls help

There are lots of great options here and I am sure many people on this forum can give you some suggestions. It would be easier to give you suggestions if you could provide more background info such as:

1) What Price Range are you considering?
2) Where do you plan to work? RTP/ dowtown / from home
3) Are you interested in homes with .10 acres / .25 / .50 +
4) Are you looking for to build or want exisiting home?
5) Are you set on living in Raleigh or will you consider nearby areas like Cary, Holly Springs, Apex, Clayton, Durham, or Knightdale?
