Coming from NEPA (Northeastern PA) with a very distinct and unique style of pizza all up and down "the valley" from Wilkes-Barre to Old Forge to Scranton, I have come to the realization and acceptance, wherever I live around the country, no other place will have pizza similar to where I grew up, ever!

You have some of the hardest water on the planet. Affects the dough, in a way that makes it comfort food while adding minerals to the vitamins.

Just came back from a weekend in Tunkhannock, and had a couple of slices. Good stuff.

Person 2: "Is that out in the park?"

It's a little like people using "Chapel Hill" and "UNC" in synonymous ways i.e.: "Where'd you go to college" "Chapel Hill" or "Our oldest is graduating from Chapel Hill this year with a BA in Chemistry, and now she's applying to grad schools."
If people want to use it then that's their choice but it sounds ridiculous.
The UNC-Chapel Hill thing sounds ridiculous as well

Well I wouldn't expect someone with the username NCviaMD would understand. It's a North Carolina thing.

We just said Carolina. The North Carolina thing is simply "Carolina"

Why does it sound ridiculous? UNC-Chapel Hill is a very different school from UNC-Charlotte or UNC-Pembroke. Seems to me it's necessary to say it that way. What would you suggest?
