I must say that ABC11 (and Big Weather in particular) did a great job this morning. Even though I'm in Wake County and wasn't affected by all the Tornado warnings, I still watched so that I could monitor whether or not anything would pop up here.

It was a particularly scary scenario because it's a Monday morning at a time when people are going to work and kids are at bus stops. Personally I was glad for the continuous coverage this morning because conditions can change VERY quickly and people need to be able to monitor and prepare as needed.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. News coverage should be strictly about informing the public, but too often lately news coverage has become intermingled with sensationalism and/or propaganda, which is turning a lot of people off.

Channels 5 and 11 put national programming over on their .2 channels for this morning's national news. I wish 17 would do the same because I like CBS Sunday Morning.

not really a coffee guy, but a nice glass of water does it for me. Maybe even some cranberry juice.
