That's pretty much it. It would be one thing if the main rule was don't use the N word in a degrading way. But the PC police have gone into overdrive. Comedy can't exist in the same space as the "safe space" crowd. Removing the cameras helps to keep the two worlds apart.

There’s still got to be a cost involved. They aren’t doing it for free. Guess who likely ends up paying?

Taking issue about the concert with us will not change the views of the performer or the venue. Have you notified the performer (post on his social media) or DPAC about your outrage with this issue? Telling us over and over and over doesn't help solve the problem. If you just want to vent, fine, you've vented. If you want change, bring up the issue with people can make a change.

Haven’t yet, but I plan on it. Not just about this show in particular. And I don’t know that I’d call it “outrage” so much as “objection”. I’m not heading over to DPAC with torches lit or anything.

I don't disagree with your decision to not attend the show.

This. Venting (or whining) on here accomplishes nothing.

Some people don't say anything because they don't think it will change anything. Who will they listen to? The millionaire performer or the individual audience member?

You know, "millionaire performer" isn't an insult. Its a actually a sign of success. And its also completely irrelevant.

I don’t think it was intended as an insult. Just a reality of the decision making process.
