So I don't always drink this, but it's kind of a fun tradition. It took some effort, but I finally managed to find someone at Total Wine who knew what I was talking about. It's normally sold in November before Thanksgiving. Total Wine says they will have a small amount the first or second week of November.
Anyone know some other wine stores that plan to sell it?
Beaujolais Nouveau Day this year is November 15th.
I recall finding some at the Harris Teeter in years past just before the holiday. It has often been used as a pre-meal aperitif in our household while cooking for Thanksgiving, with a Cotes du Rhône served later alongside our Turducken (Frankenbird)...
