I looked at Dick's (in Durham) and the selection was disappointingly small and they wanted $32 for a t-shirt! Looked at Marshalls and their prices were good but only because they look like Goodwill rejects.
Prices for "real" merchandise can go only so low because of the licensing fees collected by the league and the onerous commercial terms that the league imposes on its licensees. Same story for the other professional sports leagues as well as the NCAA.
