I looked at Dick's (in Durham) and the selection was disappointingly small and they wanted $32 for a t-shirt! Looked at Marshalls and their prices were good but only because they look like Goodwill rejects.

Are you looking for t-shirts or jerseys?

Sometimes the big box stores like Walmart and Target actually have a more robust selection online (https://www.walmart.com/search/?quer...ahead=panthers).

If you're looking for jerseys or other more expensive stuff, I've found some great deals on poshmark (got a nice like new Red Sox jacket for $18).

Prices for "real" merchandise can go only so low because of the licensing fees collected by the league and the onerous commercial terms that the league imposes on its licensees. Same story for the other professional sports leagues as well as the NCAA.
