Welcome to the internet. This is one of those pandora's box type of situations where you can't just shut the box when it's been opened.

We'd be very liable if we said "planes only fly over this area" (the noise contours). Or, if a client said "I don't want any loud planes ever going overhead, I sleep at night!" ... then our answer should be "planes fly all over, this criteria cannot be met with certainty"
This reminds me of when Preston was fairly new. I had a client that wanted to be "as close as possible" to the airport and he really liked Preston. But...he said he didn't want ANY airport noise! See the irony?!!

Anyway...he DID buy in Preston because he found a home that he loved and decided he could live with the airplane noise. He later told me that after a while, he got used to the planes and really didn't even hear them anymore!

Sometimes clients tell you what they want and don't want but once they get familiar with the area or find a home they really love, some of the criteria goes by the wayside!

It’s funny how Preston was considered noisy at one time...until folks tried out West Cary.
