The joys of buying from Beazer. If it's not one thing it's the other. Bought a new house to avoid this kind of stuff to no avail.

Leaky kitchen sink and a couple of toilets need work. Anyone reasonable who will travel to Durham that someone can recommend?

Would try those and asking on Nextdoor before calling the big names like Poole's plumbing.

After Hours Plumbing. I'm in Durham and they've done quite a few different things for us over the years. Doug and his team are great!

He’s based up in Timberlake but does some work in Durham I believe. Has installed new well pump for us, fixed our shower, changed out our old hot water heater for a new one, etc etc etc. (our house is 50 years old) Always great workmanship, always. 919-730-5461

Progressive Service Company came out within 1-1/2 hours on a Sunday when my toilet overflowed. Turned out a tree root had grown into the sewer line. Two guys spent all day digging up to replace that part of the pipe outdoors. I've brought them out since them and I'm very happy with them. They are my go-to company for plumbing issues. https://www.callprogressive.com/.

If you have builder grade Sterling toilets, they may recommend replacing them. I have them and I'm going to have mine replaced after improving drainage in my yard (recommendations please!!) and having my driveway repaired/replaced.

I used Pooles Plumbing for an emergency. Very responsive and quick resolution.

I’ve also used amazon services for a plumber to replace my new construction toilet that wouldn’t stop leaking.
