Before you go and crap all over him, he's definitely been through some **** due to the whole child actor thing never usually ending well. He's managed to get his life together lately though and even starred in a Google Home Hub ad within the past month. Dude seems legit happy again and doing well on his recent youtube videos.
That's shocking! That any semi sane person would attempt to go to Crabtree in December.

OP I'm confused as to why you think you saw McAuley Culkin at Crabtree........why would he be there...or even in Raleigh?
I think you may have been mistaken. A couple years ago a paparazzi did snag a picture of him in NYC looking pretty emaciated; but his recent " Home Alone Remake" Google Home commercial showed him looking much healthier.
I was already skeptical, but a quick check of his Twitter shows that he most likely is nowhere near the Triangle right now or any time in the past year.

Actually he didn't say that he was in JoAnn Fabric, he just said he spends a lot of time in them. "Most likely" is guesswork on your part, his Twitter feed doesn't indicate his exact location, and even if it did, it would likely not be legitimate because gossip-worthy former celebs typically do not like to hand over their exact location to paparazzi.
Maybe he is trying to get NC to start offering tax incentives for the film industry so it be cool again? Anything can help the image at this point.
