I can't say I've gone that way much during rush hour but I'd be surprised if anyone said there were a lot of delays going that direction. Now, the other direction towards Raleigh... sure.

Driving from Wake Forest to Henderson in the AM, and then in reverse in the afternoon, is easy. All the traffic is going the other way. I have to go that way every now and then during rush hour.

If I were you, I'd look for somewhere to live near the US1/Hwy 98 corridor. Anything there, or north of 98, will be real easy to get to Henderson. Even living in Heritage would be easy since you can shoot over on 98 and then go north on US1.
