Windshield Replacement

I used StarFix, who came out to my location and did a great job. Cost was $100 insurance co-pay.

My big regret was my original windshield had a solar film (IR blocking) installed (which couldn't be transplanted or reused).
I could have saved some money if, when I'd gotten the replacement film, I'd had it sent over to starfix for them to mount to the replacement glass, in their shop, OFF the car, and BEFORE they put the new glass on my car.

Thank you all for your recommendations and opinions. after much calling around and getting quotes, I have decided to go with Triangle Auto Glass. Scheduled for tomorrow so I will let you all know how it goes. Thank you all again.

Nice people, good job, no complaints. I have a Corolla and it was about $450. No problems, no leaks.

Took about an hour, but hungry people can kill the time at the little diner across the street.
