Nope. To me Cary is still a bedroom community. And there's nothing wrong with that.
I had the occasion to observe a panhandler inside the Bojangles once. And I believe there is an ordinance specifically prohibiting that on commercial property.

Washington DC has no skyscrapers.

Wake County now trails Mecklenburg by an ever smaller number according the 2018 Census estimates. What was a 4,634 person gap in 2017 shrunk to 1,596 in 2018. Suffice it to say, Wake has probably recently passed Meck, but we won't have that official until next year.
Also from the Census, Raleigh's MSA is the smallest in the USA (by land area) to grow by more than 200,000 this decade. The MSA is up 27,461 for the past year, while the combined metro with Durham (CSA) has grown by 36,374. At over 20,000 new residents, Wake County continues to do the heavy lifting for the entire Triangle statistics, with 1,092,305 residents as of last July. Easily Wake has passed 1.1M by now.

The underlined is probably true. Coulda used that light rail... smh

... and we need to get those Bird's and Lime's back for alternative transportation ... smh

Just as significant to me was Johnston County's growth... betcha Clayton got the bulk of that growth, too. Watch what happens there.

Wow, the growth has really slowed in Wake. Has it shifted to Johnston or Chatham?

Possibly but I also believe the state as a whole is experiencing slower growth now. Great news imo! 42 is a big improvement from 100. That is if the 42 per day is accurate as I have never heard that, I do however hear something around 64?

Looking at the American Community Survey...... (https://factfinder.census.gov/faces/...xhtml?src=bkmk)

2016-2017 - 69 new people per day in Wake County
2015-2016 - 62
2014-2015 - 64
2013-2014 - 64
2012-2013 - 65
2011-2012 - 71
2010-2011 - 80

"Moves to" vs "gains." Babies and such.

"Wake County gains an average of 63 new residents each day with 42 per day due from domestic and international migration. In 2017, migration accounted for about 68% of population growth in Wake County."

Wake County By the Numbers
