Twingles is smart to not get into the bagels, pizza, Chinese debates.
Big Doms downtown is really good also Benchwarmers in trading co foodhall in downtown raleigh(adding that detail for the OP) are also great my two favorite bagel places period

Brooklyn Boys is now Veritas. Sign still says Brooklyn Boys.

Tried it the other night. A tad bland, but they JUST opened so willing to try again if over that way.

MY suggestions:

Aroma Korean on Harrison

Bulgogi Fries
.

Always delicious KFC(Korean Fried Chicken) can't go wrong with either the spicy or soy garlic
.

Can't go wrong with the Bulgogi Bento either

Noodle Blvd(Also on Harrison)

Ramen is Delicious
.
Alpaca formally Mami Nora's is a local chain here with about 5 locations sprinkled around the Triangle area, peruvian joint
off of Chapel Hill RD and Cary Parkway.
.

Both the Pollo Saltado
.
and

Lomo(steak) Saltado are Delicious but you can't go wrong with their chicken smothered in that cilantro green sauce.

For Bagels head to DT Cary beside Pizza Faulisi and Sip and Hit up Big Doms Bagel Shop

.
Chargrill is right there and for another burger, dog, shake fix hit up
http://www.corbettsburgers.com/]Corbett's Burgers & Soda Bar[/b]
.

Totopos on Kildaire Rd across the street from Trader Joes and Gonza Tacos and Tequila(waverly place aka whole foods shopping center) are also both good options

Gordo Plato Totopos
.

Taste of Jamaica(Chatham st just outside of DT cary) is not only DELICIOUS but serving sizes are so huge you can feed about 3 with one plate
.

Brown Stew Chicken so damn good, honestly everything good

Any who there are a bunch of places to go to, and since you from out of town, even tho this is a chain I'm still going to add it since it is more of a regional chain(both it and cook out are Greensboro NC based chains) and there aren't many locations outside of NC(think maybe a few in spartanburg sc and maybe a few in VA that's it), Biscuitville oh how I love Biscuit damn ville lol, every thing is sourced locally too
.
