The aim of this group is to help women build connections and friendships with other women in the area through shared activities and informal gatherings. Most members are from Durham; some are based in nearby areas. Some members have lived in the area for many years while others are newcomers.
Women of all ages and cultural backgrounds are welcome.
We get together for films, outings such as visits to art exhibitions and concerts, discussions and more. Most activities are in Durham/Chapel Hill but occasionally also Raleigh for museums/art exhibitions. All members are encouraged to suggest activities for the group and to share information about local events. We connect via an email list.
