Can anyone tell me generally any pros/cons of the commuting times from Wake Forest to Cary and Durham? These are 2 areas my wife and I would be working in and where our offices are located.
It’s really far and unnecessary to have such a long commute.
Helpful. Maybe they want to live in Wake Forest?
The commute on 540 from Wake Forest can be rough during rush hour. I don't have personal experience, but others on here with more experience will comment I'm sure.
"....pros/cons of the commuting times..."
PROS:
1. weekends are good.
2. if you are used to 1 hour commutes.
3. if you are used to more than 1 hour commutes.
CONS:
1. do not depend upon projected times apps.
2. essentially, do not depend upon apps at all.
3. time. it will take time to learn the efficient way.
Yeah, it’s not like you can’t find the same sorts of neighborhoods all over the Triangle. Why spend hours extra each per week on those commutes?
Maybe they have an elderly or sick relative in Wake Forest they want/need to be near? Who knows. I'm admittedly bad with assumptions, but you people are worse
I'm assuming that the jobs are in Cary and Durham and in theory your potential home would be in Wake Forest?
Only pro I can think of is that generally speaking Wake Forest has newer housing options for less money than the other two but damn that would be TWO miserable and unnecessary commutes.

WTF are you going on about? They asked for pros and cons. There’s a big con that outweighs any pros (you can get the same pros elsewhere)
We don't officially live in wake forest but live extremely close to it. My wife works at a campus in RTP and it takes her about 60 mins to do it during rush hour. She only does this a few times a month at most as she works from home.

Right, they asked for pro's and con's - not where they should live.
