The height of the ceiling makes a huge difference in how it feels in the stores as well. Similarly, the ones with black painted ceilings seem lower and more cramped than the white painted ones.

There were some I would frequent in the Philly/Delaware area during business travel that had to be close to a 70K range. Absolute monsters.

This goes for multiple grocery chains in this area.

With the exception of Walmart and Target, I almost always prefer grocery store environments with warehouse ceilings as opposed to those that have ceilings consisting of 2x2 or 2x4 acoustic tiles.
