Good to hear. I think that makes a lot of sense.

Exactly what it is. Some people are built for it, some people aren't.

My dad wrote me a letter when I turned 18 where he referred to me as the "Ice Breaker" for them and my younger sister. Whether it was when we moved from Cincinnati to Boston or Boston to Indonesia, it was me that went out and started establishing the new "norm"; whether it was establishing new social circles or adjusting to new schools (for my sister) or helping learn what the "scene" was (for my parents; which as a parent myself now, I can't imagine the fear they may have had when we went overseas having to adjust to a set of norms that have no parallel to here in the US).

Hi! We are moving from LI (Nassau) to Cary this summer. West Cary to be more specific (Mills Park and Panther Creek). The school zoning is a bit wonky with the caps but I told the kids (3 also), we need to be flexible. We are renting so we can take our time finding a home. Moving twice is overwhelming though. Best of luck and feel free to PM with any questions!
