LOL I guess in the winter, we might be having a very different conversation. Hahaha This past January, SE MI had MINUS 38 degree wind chills. Not exaggerating. It was unbelievable and the actual cold temps nearly broke records. I guess the tradeoff for the hotter summers in the triangle will be a milder winter. But, something for everyone! Some folks enjoy steamy summers and some like the "brisk" winters up north. I've been in Florida in the summer and it sounds a lot like the triangle summers.

72 is too cold for me. I love the heat. Give me 85 any day of the week. 90s don't really bother me. I'm sitting inside my air-conditioned house wearing a sweatshirt right now because I'm chilly with the thermostat set at 78. Getting ready to go walk the dog and I'll take the sweatshirt off for that, but probably put it back on when I come back inside.

No freaking way in heck I would ever live in Michigan or any place up that way.

I don't think it's unusual either. Business as usual it seems to me. It feels great with a nice breeze sitting on the screen porch.

LOL I'd eager to get out of this cold weather myself! I much prefer the warmer, hotter weather, even 90's.

We wound up getting a house without a screen room but I have a rocking chair porch facing the sunrise and a deck facing the sunset, so I'm covered no matter the temp.

+1 and good to know I am not as weird as I thought I might be. About temperatures anyway...
