Also a transplant. Haven’t found great smoked salmon but I like Pizzeria Toro in downtown Durham for good thin crust pizza. Expensive but worth it for a special treat 😊

Good frozen pizza? Does that exist anywhere?

Edible frozen pizza you mean I had a Freschetta brick oven cheese the other night that wasn’t too bad. I like to try a new frozen cheese pizza every now and then.

The pepperoni ones from Costco are really pretty good, if you like thin crust.

Costco cheese pizza isn’t bad either. We’ll get a pepperoni next trip to try. Today maybe.

Update:

1) Wegmans to the rescue, their smoked nova salmon satisfies the low salt high fat flavor profile

https://www.wegmans.com/products/sea...mily-pack.html

2) I seem to have grown fond of the $3 frozen Harris Teeter pizzas

https://www.harristeeter.com/shop/st...peroni%20pizza

3) Not to resurrect a long debated topic, but I keep trying “New York style” pizza takeout around here, and none of it tastes like New York pizza to me. Maybe I should be more specific and say queens / Long Island style. Expectations: oil pooling on top of tons of cheese, the tip of the triangle you are trying to put in your mouth drops under the weight of the cheese, requiring expert folding, bottom of the crust crackly, top of crust soft, overall not that thick.

Have you tried Randy's on Miami? If that doesn't fit the bill, I don't know what will.
