Question: Does the residential building code stipulate how far away an AC unit can be from the where the natural gas line hits the house? Asking here because I know there are some very knowledgeable people on this forum.

I'm not an expert, but this is my understanding. I don't think there is anything about the gas line itself. For the meter:

I can't answer the question, but a gas line cannot be buried in the same trench with an electric line.
