There is very little high end shopping and dining. It seems to contradict the reputed strong local economy and population growth. Saks is here but it's scaled down and strangely misplaced in a bad area. Other than that there is nothing on that level except maybe in home furnishings; Arhaus and Ethan Allen.
I did see a discussion on this but it's about 7 years old and nothing much has changed.

We have an Ambiente Furniture and Crate & Barrel. We have luxury stuff here, but it's more local and boutique, and spread out. Contrast with Ballantyne in Charlotte. There's still a lot of old money here, and they know where to go. People without money seem to be the ones to complain about a lack of "luxury".
How can you say that? Every new housing development or new condo complex is billed as LUXURY. It’s everywhere! Just open your eyes and the advertising proves it. And all those builders are from out of state, so they would know.
