Does anyone know why they are clearing that huge patch of trees along Aviation right next to the McCrimmon extension and across from the Bainbridge Apartments?'

Hoping its not another apartment complex but maybe some new food places or a gas station.

I dont understand why so many town homes and apts are being built. This just adds to the congestion and traffic. Each person living there may have one or two cars in such a confined area. Terrible.

Better to concentrate people than to clear 2-300 more acres of forest for single family homes.

But that other 200 acres of forest will eventually be cleared anyway down the road as Morrisville, Cary and the towns want more tax revenue and money from developers.

McCrimmon Parkway will be overwhelmed 12 hours after it is opened.
And, DOT folks sure need to fast track planning for doubling the causeway across Lake Crabtree.

Isn't it wonderful to live in an area of high growth?

Lots of folks tired of all the clear cutting. Wife and I are actually in contact with land owners of several good size parcels that want to sell, but dont want it developed, and want it actively farmed.

So the sentiment is fairly widespread...

The motto of the town for most of the past 10 years has been screw schools, screw roads, do what the developers want. Incredibly poor leadership, highlighted by not pursuing a Morrisville high school so that a board member would have a better chance of success for his charter school. I do think the leadership is getting better but there is a lot of ground to be made up.
