Thinking of getting one done in my new house. Small lot (0.1 acre total).

Probably for that little property...between 2500 - 4K. You will probably still need at least 3 zones depending on how its laid out.

The meter runs about 750, and its about 750 for each zone.

We paid $4k plus $700 for the second meter (in Cary) two years ago. That was for 8 zones ($500/zone). I think Apexguy's estimate sounds pretty reasonable.

Could you Dm me who you used? We have not been able to find anyone under $750 a zone. So far our average quote has been $7K !

It is ok to post the recommendations as long as it is found not to be advertising.

We used Huntscapes and they did an excellent job. Our other estimates were $1000-1600 more (and I think those didn't include drip lines for our beds). This was almost two years ago, though, so I have no idea what they're charging now.
