Not sure if you heard but Chef Teddy Diggs (previously at Il Palio) opened up a Roman-style pizza joint in a new plaza off of S. Greensboro Street - Coronato Pizza

I stopped in during their soft open and it's a tasty, high quality pie. Soft crust with a crisper bottom and lots of classic Italian ingredients. He does a potato pizza with rosemary and lemon which is pretty awesome! Anyhow check it out if you're in the Chapel Hill area and love pizza. It's not inexpensive but Chef Teddy has got some talent in the kitchen and it shows in the food...

What are those things in the top picture?

Just kidding. Not my style, but the meatballs look good!

I might just have to check it out.

Then again Amante and Brenz are just so much closer and I already know I like them!

The poster was referring to the pizza, not the meatballs.

Well it is pizza but it's pretty unique, Roman-style! And the chef is pretty talented across Italian food so I'm guessing the small plates will be equally good. Curious to see the menu change as they ramp up...
