Crossroads Ford aside, this is the only reason that I can see it existing -- a service perk. I just can't fathom going to a car dealership to get food without an interest in the cars themselves. While I'm there for a service early in the morning, sure, that makes sense -- but outside of that it would just be so weird.

To each their own though.

The Crossroads in Indian Trail (formerly Dale Jarrett Ford) has had a diner for a long time. In fact, it's still called DJ's diner, harkening back to its prior ownership.

Just wait -- maybe Ford's Garage will make its way to NC. Great place for mediocre, overpriced burgers and an even greater lead magnet for the area Ford dealership. The one I visited keeps a nice new Ford parked right up front, along with a dealership rep on site (usually a pretty blonde with a clipboard or an iPad) to help you get started with your purchase.

Tried Mustang Charlie's, was underwhelmed.

A gentle word of constructive criticism for the owners and managers: The amount of bacon in your BLT is inadequate. Raise the price if you must, but put some BACON in your BLT.

I eat a good breakfast there every time I've had my Ford serviced. Pretty good, but then again how can you mess up bacon, eggs, toast and coffee.

They're the best selling auto brand in America, and the F-Series truck is the best selling vehicle. Ford Motor Company as a whole is still outsold by Toyota and General Motors, but they're doing alright.
