Do any Long Island transplants know if there’s a local place that has dishes similar to Hamza & Madina?

They are a chain of food trucks and serve chopped lamb or chicken over salad or rice, the spicing was so good, a lot of dimension, without burning. And their famous “white sauce” that I have no idea what they put in there to make it so addictive.

Lots of great places around here, but haven’t found something similar to this easy-chew chopped style with mystery white sauce.

Looks like Chicken and Rice guys in Boston and Halal Guys in Manhattan.

Haven't come across it in my time here in the Triangle; although if it exists here I would be happy to learn that

( I agree it may be one of my favorite meals and yes the white garlic sauce is fantastic)

I respectfully disagree.

1. Tahini sauce is light brown/light tan. This sauce is a light cream color.

2. The vendor (finally) packages the sauce in plastic take-away pouches with the ingredients printed on the outside. The first four ingredients are what is used to make mayonnaise. There's no sesame/tahini in sight. With the increased occurrence of nut allergies, that would be a stupid omission from the ingredient list.

ETA: Our of curiosity and too much time on my hands, I googled for copy cat recipes that were written AFTER they printed the ingredients on the take-away packets. Those packets provided a starting point and this one is (U think) pretty close. But it's been years since I had that sauce, so my taste memory is a bit hazy.

I went down the same rabbit hole. Found blog after blog referring to last blog I found.

The last in the sequence suggested it might be watered down pepper mayo after all!
