Just heard it on radio. Looks like the concert is back on. Short notice though.

RBC Center (http://www.rbccenter.com/about/Articles.asp@article_id=607.html - broken link)

How is RBC center accoustics wise ? Indoor concerts always makes me nervous

I saw them in G'Boro and the sound was really good. I might have to go to this show as it probably won't continue much longer lol.

If you can put up with DLR's shrieking, out of tune instruments, synths sampled at the wrong rate, etc., you can put up with the acoustics of the RBC.

Check out how incredibly bad Jump was in G'Boro last year:

I'm torn.

Eddie Van Halen - a personal influence on me as a guitarist; arguably the greatest influence on rock guitar ever. (At the very least in the top 10)

Yet, from everything I've seen, read or heard about - the guy is an absolute ass.

David Lee Roth - another rock icon; the crazy front man. I've a decade to see DLR and the Van Halen brothers re-unite for those legendary songs of my youth.
(I didn't care for the Hagar years - although I have nothing against Sammy, he seems like the most sane, solid and fun guy in this whole mess - he was always a replacement to me.)
Now that it's here (without Micheal Anthony) I just can't get excited about it. No, that's not quite true - part of me is excited about it, but not enough to justify the ticket costs. Maybe I'll try to win tickets or something.

We had excellent seats but I got a refund from TM after the first cancellation. I doubt it will be a good performance after all of the problems and the tickets were too expensive to gamble on getting a good night.

Direwolf agree - those instruments sound way out of whack. Guess my concern is the least of the worries then

That in addition to the fact that Michael Anthony is missing puts a little damper. Guess if I can go to a page and plant concert (not the full mighty led zep) or roger watters show ( not pink floyd) then why not take a stab at this one.

Got my tix. Fingers crossed
