If you only knew how much Googling I have been doing. The gentleman earlier gave me direction as someone that never stepped foot in the area before without the direction then I am lost

I’m doing a lot of research myself, I’d suggest asking a couple of questions beforehand.
If you’re a non-smoker, ask if they allow smoking and also ask about cable, many properties only allow the cable company they have with the property, you’d have no choice. These may or may not matter to you but I know I hate surprises! Raleigh area does have a lot of apartment properties so we’re lucky that way. I always figure if I don’t like my first place, I can always move after I get to know the area better.

If I were you I would suggest avoiding making fun of people who ask questions. I cannot imagine that carrying that sort of bitter, cynical attitude around with you could possibly be healthy.

If somebody politely asks a question, and you have no input to give, or if the question somehow strikes you as not worth your time, or perhaps even rubs you the wrong way, I would suggest that you simply ignore it: remain silent, and move on with your day, and find something positive and constructive to do and think about, instead of spending your time in an attempt to shame someone for having the audacity to ask a question.

I for one enjoy being helpful, and am grateful for the opportunity to help somebody sort out the apartment scene in the Cary area. Somewhat inexplicably, I have a great deal of interest in the subject and have been paying attention to this for quite a while, so I found responding to the question to be fun.

Might I also suggest that you should try being helpful as well. Perhaps you already do in some other way in some other situations in your life. In which case, good for you! But please be mindful that words like these are the opposite of that. Also, please ask yourself whether the sort of people who are impressed with words like this and "pile on" with you, are actually the sort of people who are likely to make you a better person.
