Vontier is being spun out of Fortive and will be based here in Raleigh. 8400 employees worldwide for Vontier, but no word on how many will be here or where exactly the HQ will be.

Does Fortive already have a presence here, or is this all-new?

I suspect the directors will require a fair number of supporting personnel in Raleigh.

Fortive Vontier should locate itself in Fuquay Varina because that would be some nice word salad to say.

Gilbarco has a big presence in NC - GSO especially. none of the other companies names provide a clue.

there IS a company in that industry with HQ in Morrisville. No obvious direct tie/ownership by Fortive.
