So how is it only 30 feet from your backyard? Are you talking about the missing segment of Addenbrock? That was obviously always going to be connected. McCrimmon will be hundreds of feet from you.

That's a vegetative buffer between lots. They will almost certainly not be building houses on that line.

But yeah, you're not in a deep woods 2 acre lot. You're going to have neighbors.

Ah, yeah, I thought you were referring to roads being that close. Your neighborhood has a 30 foot buffer behind your house and this new neighborhood will also have 30 feet, so you’re looking at 60 feet of buffer.

60 feet is fine for me, although I already got used to the whole farm as my backyard for almost a decade.

I will have A LOT of neighbors. Maximally 160 units. That's crowded.

An overview of the project scale is released. I guess it will take them up to six yrs to make it finally happen:

Get rid of the farm and transfer into an empty space for construction---2 yrs
Build the properties and houses from scratch to be households--- 2 yrs
Sell out all the homes and host buyers to move into the community--- 2 yrs

By that time, roughly 2027, my current house is paid off and I'm ready to leave this crazy and lousy area. GNSP

No sign the farm project is starting soon. Everything is still untouched in 2022.

Any updates on this project? My wife and I are considering ordering a house at the new site.

Wait, you went from hating this new development, thinking it would ruin yours, to now wanting to move there?
