I love living in Durham, but there are a lot of people who prefer many different places.

Depends on where you work. I would not want to live in Raleigh and work in Durham, or vice versa. Working in between (airport or RTP), I'd choose Durham.

You can still find homes in the 200k range inside the beltline, but it really depends on your expectations. I work with mostly young buyers trying to find homes close to downtown. 95% are looking under 200k, and I can always find them something. But if you need lots of square footage it will be more difficult, most my buyers are single or married with no kids....good started homes.

These sub 200k homes might be inside the beltline but are they Inside The Beltline (ITB)?
