I'm not saying that it's odd you would ask for evidence/sources about statements made.
But it is mighty on that in a year as a member of this site/board, that the two main items you demanded evidence for accusation made relate to this and MVP Math.
Things that make you go hmmmm....like business owners stuffing their Yelp reviews.
Right - hasn't posted in 5 months but magically knows we're posting about his pet issue today. Things that make you go hmmmm indeed. Because he can restrain himself from posting the rest of the time about EVERYTHING else or....can't be bothered to login to the other username till this topic comes up.
Staff came in and completely changed the plan up from what they proposed a week ago. For the first time ever the board came down pretty hard on staff. They proposed K-3 for 3 week rotation until November, when they'll go full time. All others would be fully remote until at least 2nd semester (January).
When it came time to vote, they broke down the vote into FOUR votes - one for K-3, on for 4-5, one for 6-8, and one for 9-12.
They voted for:
K-3 back for a 3 week rotation in October, but only for one rotation. Then they will go back full time in November.
4-5 will go back in a 3 week rotation until at least 2nd semester (January).
6-8 will go back in a 3 week rotation until at least 2nd semester (January).
9-12 will be remote until at least 2nd semester (January).
Jim Martin complained, and complained, and complained, and complained, but offered zero solutions, and the rest of the board in its entirety is clearly fed up with it. Lots of back and forth, some yelling, some crying, etc.
The whole thing was just crazy.
no way an adult was crying. unless it was a parent participating.
Be careful about some of the challenger candidates though. Some of them don’t have kids in WCPSS and just want to advocate for school vouchers. I think they are trying to take advantage of parents frustration with COVID and schools to push through an entirely different agenda.

I've been impressed with many of the challengers. It's very obvious who's in it for the right reasons, regardless of whether or not you agree with them.
I'm not aware of any challengers that don't have kids currently or in the past in WCPSS. Who are you referring to?
Rachel Mills. Her kids are in private school and a charter. She has also made some very questionable remarks on a parent FB group discussing WCPSS and COVID. She is running against Chris Heagarty.
