I am opposed to school vouchers regardless of income status.

It looks like the Republicans have submitted a bill to remove the income requirements. https://lrs.sog.unc.edu/bill-summari...20Session/S711

It’s weird that this lady went to the media - almost like she was seeking attention for a certain group’s cause?

I think it's clear that her agenda is that schools should not be open yet. Many teachers have been outspoken on that issue.

Have they? Or is it just one organized and very outspoken group of teachers?

I have not seen the same at my kids' school. Teachers want the kids back.

It’s possible to want the kids back, and also believe it is unsafe to work in the school with the kids under current circumstances.

My sister has a co worker in the exact same position - no risk factors, doesn't live with anyone who does, asked for accomodations...she's on FB every day going here there and everywhere. Some of these people are REALLY too much.

I don't know where this woman plans on finding a job....no private school or public school district around here is more restrictive than WCPSS. Hope she thought this through. Most pay less too.

I have a feeling she didn't give her name because she didn't actually resign.

I drove by a private school midday today and noticed all the kids playing together and none had masks on.

Still trying to figure out how much good it's going to do my middle schooler to have a grand total of 8 days in the school building through MLK Day. They're sure jumping through a lot of hoops for what seems to be a very minimal potential benefit.
