Hello all! We are new here, only been here a month, having a great time taking kids to the beach and driving around getting to know the area. But duty calls we have a few family functions we have to attend up north and I have no idea what to do with our dogs!! Does anyone have any kennel recommendations? Do any have any good size runs? Thanks so much for your help!!

Sorry I guess that would be helpful!! We are currently renting in Cleveland/Clayton area. But we will be passing Raleigh area on our way in and out of town so anywhere around here would be fine we would be willing to drive a bit for a good kennel. Thanks!

I have used Bone Voyage on Shipwash Drive in Garner/Cleveland by 40/42 and have been satisfied. They do have both indoor and indoor/outdoor runs but I think the in/out runs get booked quickly. You can also book additional outside play time. 329-9892.

I really like Camp Bow Wow. They have several locations around town. And daycamp is included in the daily rate, so you know your dog is getting exercise. I also like that they have webcams so you can check on your dog almost any time during the day.

We used to use Shady Grove and they were good with nice runs but they changed names. It is still on Shady Grove Rd ( off leesville in N Raleigh)
but I will have to look up the name. Alot of people have a pet sitter come to their house especially if you have more than one pet.

I second Camp Bow Wow, I have used both their Cary and Durham locations and have been nothing than pleased with how they treated and took care of my dog.

The webcams are really great too, it's neat to be able to check in and see your dog playing.

We love Durant Road Animal Hospital (and Kennel), but they are in WAY north Raleigh, probably too far from you.

I've also heard good things about Doggie Spa and Day Care in Chapel Hill (also not really relevant for you, but someone else might see this).
