Thanks. My office does block certain types of video content but I wouldn't think it would apply to a page like that. It's not really a video.

I will try at home later.

(At least) 19 new congregate outbreaks reported by NC DHHS today. This is a net change, any outbreaks removed would be hidden by this change.

Nursing Homes went from 136 to 147
Residential Care from 92 to 99
Other from 12 to 13

Heard this site recommended by a doctor on a podcast I was listening to today:

https://www.statnews.com/

Not local news, but may be of interest to some people.

Anyone else notice something odd about the Positive Tests as a Percentage Chart on the NCDHHS site? How does the 7-day running average line magically hover above all of the data?

I have attached their graph and my version of the same data with, you know, an actual 7-day running average.

Really makes you wonder what the heck they are graphing?! And does anyone at NCDHHS know basic math?

The NC DHHS site gives cases and deaths for zip code but not hospitalizations. My zip had 3 for a very long time, and now we have 5.

If you pay attention to that graph daily as well. The percent positive will usually later be lowered beyond what the day of reporting value is. It is almost always reported at 10%, but if you check back for that same date a few days later, it often gets lowered. Data lag even there.
