I have made about 30 trips to every Walmart, Harris Teeter, and Food Lion in NW Raleigh over the past few weeks and every single time - there has been no sanitizing wipes or alcohol. I am now out of time as the 1 container I bought 2 months ago is near the end.

Can someone please tell me WHERE I can find these items in NW Raleigh please? Do any of the Walmarts EVER have these things? Because as far as I can tell, they just flat-out don't. I have tried at 7am when they open, in the afternoon and in the evening and it never changes.

I have seen alcohol at both the Walmart neighborhood store on highway 55 in Cary and the Walgreens in the area. If you can’t find in NW Raleigh ask Walgreens or Walmart there to get you some from stores that do have.

Disinfecting wipes are still tough to find. DH got them at Costco about 4-6 weeks ago in the morning. In lieu of that you can buy buy any brand of disinfecting spray (I have two Lysol spray cleaners) and use with paper towels. If paper towels are cost prohibitive use those blue and white washable handiwipes they sell in stores near sponges.

This is what I've been doing - disinfecting spray cleaner and wipe it up with a reusable washcloth. I was able to pick up some Clorox wipes at the Apex Costco last week. If you use the wipes as the directions state (using enough to keep the surface wet for four minutes), you will go through them quickly and I don't know when I might find more.

Use BrickSeek to see what is in stock.
https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker

You do need to find the UPC or SKU for the specific item.

From the dropdown menu in upper right, you can pick which store to search - WalMart, Lowes, Target, etc

Shoot...I haven't found disinfecting wipes this entire time (4months)!!! Nor any Lysol spray!

BTW - For those that hate wearing masks you should shop at Harris Teeter! Even their spokeswoman says that they are not enforcing it!! Can anyone tell me what grocery stores they have been in recently in North Raleigh or Wake Forest that really do enforce it? Maybe we can even make a list so that all the non mask wearers can go to one store and all us mask wearers can go to another :-)

I went to Teeter yesterday and didn't see one person not wearing a mask. However, Publix has a 6 foot tall sign right inside the first set of doors that says "wearing a mask is required by law, so please put your mask on now" (paraphrasing, but that's the jist). I'm seeing about 90-95% compliance wherever I go, and giving people the benefit of the doubt when I don't see it.

Wegman's has a sign as well - Most people are wearing masks as far as I could tell. Their employees do a great job wiping down the checkout area too.

Better off making your own bleach solution with water. Have to get used to self sufficiency as we are in bad shape and supplies will continue to be far and few for these products which are often not used correctly.
