Just moved to Fuquay and was wondering if the town does fireworks, etc on the 4th of July. If so where do they do it?

Default Fuquay fireworks

Fuquay has a big July 4th celebration with fireworks at South Park (on 401 South of downtown, near the southern intersection of Judd Parkway and 401 S, on the right if you're headed south). We went in 2006 and it was VERY crowded, but fun.

They have a bunch of activities for the kids before the fireworks, food, games and such. It is behind the community center - next to Dollar General. I live in the area - and actually dread the parking crowds and the people who decide that the outside is their toilet, even though it's my backyard. But yes the crowds have a good time.

Garner also has a great fireworks show with the NC Symphony on July 3rd at Lake Benson.

We are somewhat new to the area and did see the fireworks last yr in Fuquay. I was suprised there were sooo many people.

It was a good time and they have all kinds of Bounce House's free for the
kids. My little one didn't care for them at that time.

We ended up having to leave early because my little one didn't like
the fireworks. So.. word to the wise make sure you park down on the
street somewhere so you can get out if you need to.

Also... make sure you put on some type of "bug guard".. there were some
kind of little tiny bugs.. almost like nats flying EVERYWHERE!

Have fun and hope your liking Fuquay.
