The name may not ring a bell with some of you since he's been in semiretirement the last 13 years or so, but Rogers was a keen chronicler of life in North Carolina in print and on video, especially stories dealing with Eastern North Carolina, which he rightly felt was often overlooked and little regarded by those living in the Triangle. I would have thought he was older too. Only 77 and it seems so long ago when he retired.
