Does anyone know of any "somewhat" local places that sell larger gutters to consumers? Lowes and HD only carry smaller sizes which won't handle the amount of runoff we have in certain areas. We would also prefer seamless. Thanks!
We have just one area that we want to do and not sure if any gutter installation company would be willing to come out for such a small job so my husband plans to install it himself.
We want at least a 6" and need more than the standard 10' that most places sell (like big box stores). I would prefer not to have any seams so I am looking for a company that makes a 20' length that will sell direct to consumers and have local pickup available. Since posting, I did find one company called K&M Sheet Metal (Durham) however they do not have the 20' in stock and would have to make it. Lead time is approx 2 weeks.
Now just trying to see if there are any other local companies that may have stock because hubby has the time to complete this one task off his "Honey DO" list :-) .
Ugh, gutter maintenance. I own 4 rentals and a personal residence .... Every one of them either has K-Guard installed or has drip edges without gutters.
So glad I don't have to go on a ladder multiple times a year to mess with gutters anymore.

That seems risky to me. Aren't gutters and downspouts there so they can move water away from your foundation and your house in general? Mine go to my cisterns which I use to water my garden, so my gutters are my "water cash cows" ... but even if I didn't have them, I'd be very careful foregoing gutters, especially here where it rains a lot and soil is clay. Wouldn't you worry all that soil getting very heavy against your foundation. {obviously, not a construction worker or house builder, but that just my guess?}
