Happened to me as well.

Took my daughter to bed at her usual bedtime (8PM). Under normal circumstances I'm up til 12AM most nights.

Woke up this AM at 515 in her bed.

one week post #2 Pfizer and all is well.

My oldest, who would have been given a J&J at UNC* instead received Moderna I believe. She is reporting stronger side effects.

*think about that snafu. UNC was going to try and vaccinate 20K students with a 1-shot. Now, with 3 weeks until students are long gone, they're giving shot #1 and I suppose all those kids have to figure out shot #2 when they're home.

I thought at 24 hrs after Moderna #2. No big deal, no side effects. 2 hours later...whoa my muscles hurt. My body hurts. I've got no energy. Fortunately by the next day all was resolved.

No sleep for me last night as the fever/shivers and aches kept me up...a Pfizer-induced nap will definitely be happening this afternoon after a few appointments I have though!

Curious to know if any of the "fellas" here were asked prior to vaccination if you could be pregnant or were planning on getting pregnant in the near future.

We had our 2nd Pfizer dose yesterday and the nurse asked my husband these questions. My husband replied with "Shhhhh....I didn't want my wife to know"! The nurse then told us that they are now required to ask everyone that question.

Afterwards we realized why but just curious if other places are asking that same question.

BTW - Only a very sore arm this time and we were both very tired last night. Nothing else.

For my second shot on Tuesday the administrator worked through a serious of standard questions before giving it. She sorta answered that question herself.

"Have you ever reacted negatively to a vaccine before"

"No"

"Well you aren't pregnant.....so.....Have you...."

I wasn't directly/audibly asked the question but I had to check it off on a sheet I was given that no, I was not with babbbay or preganté.

I hesitated to get the vaccine because I usually have a bad reaction to vaccines and medications. But we are flying next month and so I decided I'd just deal with it.

I even picked a Saturday so I could just go home and be in bed for a couple of days.

I was "lucky" enough to get the J&J vaccine.

Not one single reaction. Hubby swears they gave me a placebo!

Its now been two weeks (tomorrow). No blood clots either!
