Good Morning,

Our search for a home continues! Low inventory still and we expect it to be though the New Year. Still hoping to find a house in Heritage but wanted to ask about Majestic Oaks. There are a couple of homes for sale over there. Is Clearsprings a very busy road? Was there a tragedy/murder on that road years ago? Any info would be very appreciated!

Clearsprings is sorta busy, but not crazy. It is a cut through between Rogers and Chalk Rds.

Yes there was a thing there a few years ago. https://www.wral.com/wake-forest-man...bors/18327804/

It wasn't in Majestic Oaks "proper". It was in the portion of Clearsprings passed the rotary that is outside the development.

Did you look at the house next to the pond in Heritage?

We did look at the house next to the pond in Heritage!! We wanted to love it but we didn't. It was previously a rental and beat up. The MBR bathroom was not nice, the carpet was all a mess, the hardwoods had some sort of oil all over it, the light fixtures were very gaudy, the kitchen was odd, with two islands; outside needed a lot of attention. Priced high for what it was. We would of needed to put 40K into it. It had potential for a younger family. I loved the location.

Ya I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time it's sold since we moved here.

Saw a couple of places on Golden Star and Forgotten Pond/Golden Star go for 650 and 670. Absolutely in-freaking-sane. Helps with my equity....but not for those in the market now.

It is. What is frustrating is that people just offer so high over list it doesn't give anyone else a chance to bid, or even bid higher. We are in a great position to buy, however, because we sold a property etc. The issue is finding a home and not getting outbid!
