I will say I don't want it for that reason but I mean the opposite.

But I would like it to start after 7 pm on Saturday because I have to go to Greensboro and then have to be able to get back to my house/neighborhood does not get plowed or salted for days

The answer is no. The answer is always no.

In December 2018 1-3 inches was predicted and I ended up with 8-inches. ugh.

Or as I refer to what it is here, "snow".

I imagine Greg Fischel called for a light dusting the night before the 20 inches in 2000.

The forecast was for up to three inches that morning, changed to six inches by dinnertime. 'Course, we ended up with 20, but that was more than 20 years ago. I'm sure forecasting is much more precise now. Right?

Right?

So what's the scoop with this storm? Will the rain melt all .3 inches of ice we're supposed to get?

Also the nights following are supposed to be in the 20's.

How many loaves of bread should I buy??? Milk??? Gas????

Where we lived in MA we didn't tend to get the Ice storms that Worcester sometimes got....so this will be sorta a new thing for us (and without knowing first hand what an NC ice storm is like, I would have taken the early massive snow prediction over ice any day of the week)

Having said that, isn't the old danger zone for ice (in terms of weight) anything above a quarter inch?

That's what they said on the news. I'm curious if since it's going to change to rain if it'll just melt and wash away.
