Never heard of Chicken Bee! There is a place I love in Durham called Chicken Hut - it's in a not so great neighborhood of Durham but the fried chicken there is worth it.
I just had Chicken Hut for the first time recently. It's now my favorite fried chicken place ever.
I ended up at Chicken Bee in Durham. Circumstances had me in that area, and it just caught my attention.
It was very good, not great, but was right for my mood.
Thanks to all who responded. I have a bunch of new places to try, and a few 'back on my list'. Thanks!
919: I thought about Johnson's. Been there twice before. I think they may be takeout only now, but regardless, the weather (and the prospect of waiting in line to get inside) led me to wait for a better day. That place is an experience. Definitely within the spirit of my inquiry.
Ahh Chicken Bee is a korean fried chicken spot! If you've never been, Soo Cafe is a spot in northeast Raleigh that is great for that as well. I think they have a location in the H-Mart food court too now which would be closer to you in Cary.

At chicken hut, Does the fried chicken sustain take out well????
I find it has but I'm only 10-15 minutes away from the one off Capital so ymmv. The last time I was there, they had a whole in the top of the takeout box which may help with that

Also, sorry I got totally confused and this comment was about Soo Cafe. I have no idea about takeout at Chicken Hut.
