Yes, we realize. That's why I said they have product you can't get elsewhere in the Triangle. So it's hard to contrast them to Publix or HT because they are literally the only operator that sells certain products of that type in the area. Grand Asia has some of what they sell but they're a drop in the bucket.

That's scary. It's in one of the main shopping centers in West Cary.

Just went there yesterday. Very convenient and spacious store. Nicer than the previously closed one in Cornerstone. Kinda like Wegmans with different departments including its own cafe and beer bar. I wonder what the other retail stores are in the same shopping center.

Gas station is open. $2.65 a gallon compared to Costco $2.36 and other Apex gas stations in the area for $2.40 and up.

Either Lowe's Foods has an expensive distributor, or it has a markup to pay off expenses. Costco has lower prices for its fuel, but its fuel is accessible to members only, and it has a membership fee.

Good to know thanks for posting. May be worth the upcharge for convenience because in this area it's either that tiny Shell station on Carpenter which is a pain or going up or down a ways on 55 to Sheetz, BP (which isn't cheap either) or the Exxon.

Costco is nice and cheap but it's far and requires waiting 6 cars back to get.
