Hi all,

I also posted this in the Greensboro forum since there is not one for Burlington.

I am looking for insights to this community. The last posts were years and years ago. Anyone live there? Pros/cons, what is it like (friendly or folks stay more to themselves), shopping, distance to things, safety, taxes... you name it... looking for insights and details.

TIA

taxes are $1.27 per $100 (aka 1.27%).

There's a Target, Wal-Mart Supercenter, multiple grocery stores nearby.

Crime, there are multiple websites you can enter an address and it will tell you about crime.

Have you driven through there yet? It looks like a "mixed" community - that is, they have large homes, small homes, and ranch townhomes. The pool and playground area indicates kids to me, but who knows?

Hi and thank you for the info. That tax rate seems high when you are not really in a city, so .. wow. But, good to know.

Not sure what websites tell you about crime - can you help with that?

I have not driven through the area yet, wasn't sure if it was gated, but sounds like it is not.

Do you know anyone that lives there?
