Hi All,
So I'd love some info on things to do in these areas. I mean for adults, I'm in my mid-40's
and a single parent. I'm looking for diversity, restaurants, love seafood, bars, lounges, love old school R and B music, looking for more "adulty" type places. Not talking necessarily dance clubs or things like that. I'm more about going out around 7ish and home by 11-12ish.
I'm currently renting in the Wake Forest area but I could end up anywhere, lol. I'm a teacher and still waiting to see where I land a job. I have interviewed in Garner so any info about these two places would be helpful. Looks like ALL the research I've done has been WF, Garner, Rolesville, Knightdale.
Durham streetery is back again tomorrow. Streets are blocked so no traffic, just walk around listen to live music, eat good food in socially distanced/outdoor setting.

I havent really done much research to the west.
I don't see a mid-40 single guy finding any of what you describe in Garner, Rolesville or Knightdale. Maybe WF, but I'd agree that DT Durham is a good suggestion.
Thanks so much. What are they safer areas in Durham or any known areas to stay away from? I've been told I should look in Durham also. I also have kids in elementary school, so schools matter too. I've applied for a teaching job all over Wake County, maybe I should apply in Durham as well.
