Con: you're 15 minutes+ to anything but a convenience store.

You may find additional info with a forum search for "Preserve"

I live there. Most of the houses are huge for empty nesters. If you golf, there are senior golf groups.

And driving at night is scary for a driver of any age. Senior citizens?

I often drive at night in rural areas. Is this region scarier than others?

Yes. It lacks Streetlights.

AND as one ages, it is inevitable that they will get some degree of cataracts. Driving at night with foggy eyesight is not a great idea.

Pros: It's a beautiful area with a large recreational lake nearby.

Cons: Most people are priced out of that area, with houses priced in the upper 6 digit and even now into the $1 M+ range.

As mentioned, it's a little bit out there in terms of convenience. But it won't be in a few years as Chatham Park develops and brings 60,000 new residents, so inevitably the goods (i.e. retail, grocery stores, etc.) and services will follow. That could be a pro or con depending on what someone is looking for.
