We bought in Parklyn, across the street form the Lake Lynn community center. We had wanted a neighborhood with a pool, and were told there would be one built in the park. This was by the builder's rep. Our buyer's agent, one of the best known in Raleigh, actually did nothing to help us. Did not recommend a home inspection either. We later found issues. We were totally naive and did not know that we should have an inspection in a new home. Just shows that you need the RIGHT buyer's agent. I learned from that when I got my license!
I explained to MY CLIENT that the pool was not guaranteed. It was not in any paperwork that we signed. So, had the pool been important to her, she would have decided to live in another neighborhood.
The folks that bought in that neighborhood were very upset that they weren't getting the pool. A few of them contacted an attorney to discuss a lawsuit and were told exactly what I told my client.
Hope that helped you.
Got it. No insult was intended, Vicki. I'm Sorry if it was interpreted that way.

I did get a couple of messages from others...wondering. But I know you so I didn't take it that way. I was just trying to explain it better.
