Entry-only listing doesn't get agent services - just access to MLS for marketing purposes and forms needed. It's a business model you need extreme scale to be profitable at - or have the ability to cross-sell, up-sell services. Many buyers have bought before and know the process and what to look for. Buyers that want to pay a buyers agent to represent them can do so vs. the seller being obligated to pay for introducing them to a buyer - and the seller gets the benefit of not getting locked into a large set BA fee - which could make a considerable difference when the seller is considering offers with and without one.

All true.
As was every word in my preceding post.
There are specific MLS rules and regs, NC real estate statutes, and NAR ethical provisions with which a listing agent cannot possibly comply without visiting the subject property.
A "Listing agent" is an individual or firm with a real estate license, including one who enters MLS data for marketing purposes.
Forms for sellers are readily available in public domain, without reservation, as noted in my first reply to your request. You need no other forms to market and sell, as a seller.
I don't care if you designate $0.09 or $90,000 for commissions, or any number in between. I just know the laws, regulations, and ethical requirements and see them violated more regularly by remote listing agents than even by local schmucks.

You aren't paying $149 for forms, you're paying $149 to get on your tightly controlled MLS.
BUT, the forms are part of the desired value proposition!
See the OP's OP!

They want to control the co-broke fee offered vs. having to offer the standard CB fee.
Can anyone recommend an entry only firm that operates this way (some don't allow a non-standard CB fee but some do) that is part of the Triangle MLS? There appear to be a few but wonder if anyone has used one they can recommend. Tks.

I don't really understand what point you're trying to make - maybe the OP didn't realize the forms were public domain? Maybe the service makes the forms easier to work with, provide e-signing, etc, so you aren't printing and manually filling out forms, scanning, etc? Who cares?

Just another effort to determine if you have a clue what you are posting about.
